Sara Kay (Caudle) Thompson

Sara Kay Caudle Thompson 66 of Albemarle died Wednesday Evening, January 17, 2018 at her home.

Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Freedom Holiness Church. Rev. Bryan Burris will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was born April 30, 1951 in Montgomery County to the late John Benton and Sara Crook Caudle. She was a textile retiree and a member of Freedom Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Terry Thompson and a sister Millie Huneycutt.

She is survived by her son, Terry B. Thompson and wife Teresa of Norwood. Two sisters, Debbie McRae and husband Max of Mt. Gilead and Shannon Brown and husband Alan of Gold Hill. Eight Grandchildren, Lee Thompson and wife Lee Ann, Aaron Thompson and wife Jessie, Bradley Thompson, Christian Thompson, Brittany Thompson, Courtney Thompson, Chris Purkey, Michael Purkey and wife Samm. Four Great-Grandchildren, Eli, Amelia, Judah and Millie Thompson.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie, 960 North First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
