Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

It was my privilege to work with Esther at the Cabarrus County Public Health Department and again when she served as a Board member. I treasure Esther stories. She had an original approach to public health nursing and it was highly effective. I have never met anyone more committed to the well being of children. Esther's big heart and her way of getting close to children was in full bloom when my family and I moved back to Concord after a 15 year absence. Esther immediately befriended my children and filled a void left by their grandmother's recent passing. The stories of the good works Esther accomplished in her lifetime would fill a huge volume. The memories of her love of her family and her cats will remain with me forever.

Esther and I worked together at the Cabarrus Health Department. Esther gave me a chance when I moved back to Cabarrus County with my 3 children. I had a chance to move from my mother's 2 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom house. You see, I didn't have the money for the deposit and Esther offered to lend me the money until I could pay her back. I lived there 7 years and thanks to Esther for this but most importantly for her continued loving support while she was still living here in Cabarrus County. God bless each one of you during this difficult time.
