Virginia Brock

Virginia Alice Broadway Brock, 76, of Norwood, passed away Wednesday morning, November 29, 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

A Memorial service will be held at 12:00PM, Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood.  Rev. Tony Parsons will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Edwards Funeral Home.

Virginia was born October 13, 1947 in Stanly County to the late William Paul and Maude Elizabeth Lowder Broadway.  She retired from Butch’s Scrap Metal in Norwood.  She was a member of Mount Zion Methodist Church.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Frank Brock, Sr.. her son, Roscoe Frank Brock, Jr., “Doodle”,  grandson, Tommy Lee Deese, Jr.; her brother, John Paul Broadway, and special cousin Pauline Lowder “Poppy”.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Thomas(Ricky) of Oakboro and Echo Deese(Tommy) of Albemarle; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
