Thomas and Gail Speagle

Thomas Ralph Speagle, age 89 went to be with God June 23rd, after a brief illness
Gail Self Page Speagle, age 84 went to be with her Lord June 5th, after her 4th battle with cancer
both formerly of Hickory NC, Married July 21, 1952
retired to Clearwater, FL where they made their home for the past 27 years
Thomas son of the late James Frank Speagle and Phebie Downs Speagle. Preceded in death by his wife Gail Speagle of 65 years; daughter Debra Styles;  sisters Ruth Lutz, Irene Whistnant, Frances Porell, Polly Bradshaw and brother Arthur Speagle. Survived by his 3 children Thomas Speagle Jr., Randy Speagle and Kimberly Burr; sisters Dorothy Denniston, Betty Harvey and Peggy Fox. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Army Veteran of the Korean War which he served with duty and honor. Enjoyed being outdoors, riding his bicycle, playing the harmonica and enjoyed being with his family, church family and friends. Every night before going to sleep, he prayed out loud for his family and friends.
Gail son of the late George Raby Page Sr and Ophelia Self Page. Preceded in death by daughter Debra Styles and brother George Page Jr; survived by 3 children Thomas Speagle Jr., Randy Speagle and Kimberly Burr; sister Sandra Williams; brothers Michael Page and Gary Page. A prayer warrior, loved to work in her garden and flowers, play shuffle board, painting on canvas; had a card ministry and enjoyed being with her family, church family and friends.
Memorial Services were held at Alcove Park in Clearwater Florida by their church family, Journey Community Church, Pastor Jay Didriksen officiated.
A memorial Service will be held for Thomas and Gail Saturday, June 30th at
Royal Chapel Church of God

Visitation will be at 11:00am at the church prior to the
Service at 12:00pm
Pastor Robert Burr will officiate.
