Terry Russell

Terry Lee Russell, 69, of Norwood, passed away Monday March 22, 2021 at Atrium Healthcare Pineville.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Chapel. Stephen Shaver will officiate, and interment will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM on Friday evening, March 26, at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.

Mr. Russell was born on June 5, 1951 in Stanly County to the late Hubert Newton and Edith Wise Russell.

He was a tire tech and retired from M&R Retreading after 23 years of service. Terry loved going to the fishing bank and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was the light of his girls lives and will be truly missed. #RUSSELLSTRONG

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Johnny Russell and Danny Russell; and one sister: Teresa Williams.

He is survived by his two daughters, Felicia Granados and husband Samuel, and Shelly Russell, both of Norwood; one brother: Michael Russell and wife Linda of Albemarle fiancé Crystal Haskins of the home; stepchildren: Charles Munson, Jonathan Hathcock, and Nathan Haskins; 11 grandchildren: Selena, Giovanni, Bianca, Sophia, Christian, Chelsea and husband Chris Arrington, Hailey, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Colby, and Gracie; and 4 great-grandchildren: DeMessiah, Peyton, Weston, and Armani.
