Stacey Poplin

Stacey Marie Poplin, 35, of Salisbury, formerly of Norwood, died Tuesday morning, September 28, 2021.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood.  Rev. Jeff Holder will officiate.  Burial will follow in Norwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  

Stacey was born March 6, 1986 in Stanly County.  She was employed by Locust Plastics  and Water’s Edge in Salisbury.  She was attending Rowan Community College.  She had become a master in recovery.  

She is survived by her son, Daylan Christian Coleman and daughter from another mother, Michaela Nevaeh Coleman; her mother, Cassandra Crowell Brantley and her husband, Greg Brantley of Norwood; her father, Jonah Jay Poplin of Albemarle; brothers, Joshua Jay Poplin of Norwood and Landon Poplin of Albemarle; nephew, Joshua Wayne Wise and grandmothers, Bernice Lylerly and Patricia Surratt; special friends, Debra and Javier Castro; her mastery buddies, Jessica, Wendy, Stephanie and Ashley C..
