Shirley Leiber

Shirley Reid Leiber 90 of Norwood passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Norview Gardens, Rev. Todd McSwain will officiate. The family will be gathering at Shirley’s home.

She was born April 11, 1935 in Greeneville, SC to the late Ralph and Edna Gillispie Reid. She worked in accounting and bookkeeping for Cassie Cotillion and later was a business owner of Southwinds Manufacturing. She was strong in her faith and was a dedicated member of Norwood First Baptist Church for many years where she played the organ and was church secretary.

She was preceded in death by her children, Karan Stewart Ogle and Timothy Clifton Stewart. Grandson, James Diggs and sisters, Nancy Thornal, Janice Thurston and Judy Smith.

She is survived by her children, Mark Stewart (Karen), Vickie Stewart Diggs (Dink) and Donna Stewart Wiggins (Jeff). Sister, Regina Cantrell. Her grandchildren. Sandy (Bobby), Kim (Hollis), Danny (Paula), Brian (Brittany), Ashleigh (Justin), Derrick (Kristen), and Miranda (Carey). Eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
