Shirley Biles

Shirley Mitchell Biles, 85, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Atrium Stanly.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM  Monday, September 27, 2021 at Stanly Gardens of Memory. Rev. Danny Laws will officiate.

Mrs. Biles was born on September 20, 1936 to the late Bennie Lee and Foey Curlee Mitchell. She was a welder for Federal Pacific and a member of South Albemarle Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Eugene Biles and sister Helen Crayton and brother Bud Mitchell.

She is survived by her sons,  Melvin Junior Biles (Sylvia), William Eugene Biles (Donna), and Eric Todd Biles (Frankie); six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Sudie Curlee.
