Sherry Gaddy

Sherry Foster Gaddy, 77, of Polkton,  passed away, January 22, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, January 26, 2024 at Mount Vernon Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Sherry was born September 10, 1946 in Anson County to the late Tureen and Elizabeth Billingsley Foster.  Sherry was very interested in genealogy and had completed the Billingsley and Foster family histories and the history of Anson County.  She also spent many hours researching the history of Polkton Presbyterian Church, which has recently closed. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Terry Foster and her sister, Wanda Renee Foster.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Lee Gaddy of the home; her son, Daniel Gaddy, his wife, Mila and their two girls, Kira and Kaya Gaddy of Boston, MA.
