Shelia Gaddy

Shelia Johnson Gaddy, 68, of Mt. Gilead, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mike Lisk will officiate and interment will follow at Wightman Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Shelia was born on January 7, 1956 in Montgomery County to the late Tom and Betty Thompson Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member at Hamer Creek Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Joel Allen Gaddy; and two sisters: Jean VonCannon and Carolyn Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin Gaddy of the home; one daughter: Heather Dawn Johnson; four grandchildren: Kiersten Poole, Jacob Johnson, Adriana Christian and Nathan Gaddy.
