Clarence “Scott” Webb, 57, of Norwood, NC, passed away on December 24, 2023 after a continuous battle with complications from an auto accident.
Scott was born on March 22, 1966 to Max and Frances Webb in Newport News, VA. After graduating from Hendersonville High School in 1984, he landed a job as a Lineman for Harrison-Wright, and continued in that line of work for 30 years, working for various contractors.
In 1986, he met Lori, and they wed in 1987, going on to have two children, Colby Miller (Katelyn) and Ashley Hucks. Scott was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Colby and Ashley, and always tried his best to support them. Anyone who knew Scott knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.
Scott was predeceased by his father Max Webb and mother Frances Webb.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Webb, two children Colby Miller (Katelyn) and Ashley Hucks, two grandchildren Jace Hucks and Maci Hucks and four siblings Lisa Loftis (E.W.), Jeff Webb (Sonya), Tonya Hensley (Michael) and Kim Webb.
The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Edwards Funeral Home, Norwood, NC, P. O. Box 765, Norwood, NC 28128.
There will be a celebration of life service at a later date in Hendersonville, NC.
