Rodney Cornatzar

Rodney Joe Cornatzar, 79, of Norwood, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at his home.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.

Rodney was born on March 6, 1947 to the late Charles Otto and Margaret Irene Gordon Cornatzar. He worked as a production manager for Preformed Line Products and he went on to work for Philip Moore’s before retiring.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Shane Schuyler Cornatzar, and his sisters:Alma Yvonne Weitzel, and Sandra Lee Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Evelyn Cornatzar, their children: Rodney Joseph Cornatzar, Paul Henry Cornatzar, Dawn Marie Shepard, and Anthony David Hyatt, grandchildren: Kayla Rose Shepard, Jesse Daniel Steadman, Courtney Jo Shepard, Leah Janell Cornatzar, Skylar Morgan Cornatzar, Madison Grace Hyatt, and Eva Danielle Cornatzar and two grandchildren.
