Robert Moore

Robert Bruce Moore Jr., 83, of Norwood, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at Atrium Health in Albemarle.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 08, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Union Chapel Methodist Church in Albemarle. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Moore was born on December 24, 1939 in Rocky Mount, NC to the late Robert Bruce Moore Sr. and Grace Gay Moore.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Carolyn Moore.

He is survived by his daughter, April Moore and her significant other, Bruce Levy of the Norwood; sisters: Patty Mabry, Cathy Gibbs, and Evelyn Lovins; nieces and nephews: Scott Mabry, Julie Andrews, Ryan Hinson, Randy Springer, and Felicia Springer; and three canine companions, Rudy, Michael, and Shy.
