Robbin Huntley

Robbin Huntley, 70, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Atrium Health in Concord.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Resurrection Church in Albemarle. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Friends and family are welcome to come pay their respects on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.

Mrs. Huntley was born on June 28, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Randolph and Marion Johnson Dawson. She retired from Pizza Hut and was a member at Resurrection Church. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Rozella Dawson, Marlene Dawson, Gerald Johnson, Randall Dawson, and Ray Dawson. 

She is survived by her children: Lei Thomas of Albemarle; and Nathaniel Thomas of Myrtle Beach, SC; step-children: Roderick Jackson, Lori Allen (Raymond), Johnny Huntley, and Patricia Huntley, all of Oakboro; one special niece, Nicole Dawson, special nephews: Jeremy Dawson, and Larry Dawson; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
