Robbie Thomas

Robbie Gibson Thomas, 85, of Wadesboro, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Anson Health and Rehabilitation.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Norwood Cemetery. Rev. Darrell Oliver will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to come by and pay their respects at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. 

Ms. Thomas was born on September 18, 1934 in Anson County to the late Lockie Allen and Bessie Ola Bryant Gibson. She worked at Wiscasset Mills in Albemarle and Collins and Aikman in Norwood. The was a member at Cedar Hill Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands, Edgar Eury and Earnest Thomas; son Andy Eury; and three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her niece, Ruby Morton of Norwood; granddaughter Karen Everett; brother Lonnie Gibson; sister: Eve ‘Tootie’ Atkinson; and four great-grandchildren.
