Richard Griffin Obituary

Richard Earl Griffin ,62, of Norwood, passed away Wednesday June 20, 2018 at CMC- North East.

A private memorial service will be held on Saturday June 23, 2018 at Porter Baptist Church. Dr. Kenney Wallace will officiate and the family will receive friends following the service at 11:30.

Mr. Griffin was born on August 10, 1955 in Stanly County to Jean Cooper Smith and the late Basil Odea Griffin. He was in the carpentry business and attended South Stanly High School.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Kay Summers of Charlotte.
