Raymond Culp

Raymond Allen Culp, 76, of Norwood, passed away early Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Atrium Health Stanly.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday September 14, 2019 at Richfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in the fellowship hall.

Mr. Culp was born on February 22, 1943 to the late Allen Zeno Jr. and Helen Shankle Culp. He retired from CT Communications in 2005 with 41 years of service. He was a member at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Richfield.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Rebekah Culp Edwards.

He is survived by his loving wife Shirley Blalock Culp of the home; son David Culp and wife Brenda  of Norwood; daughter Angie Mabry and husband Jamie of Norwood; brothers: Steve Culp and wife Gail, Eric Culp and wife Liz, and Scott Culp and partner Kyle McIntyre; six grandchildren: Kacie Atchinson and husband Andrew, Ashley Stamper, Michael Culp and wife Suzanne, Jordan Huneycutt and husband Dwight, Nicholas Mabry, and Chelsey Culp; seven great-grandchilren: Rylee, Peyton, Lillian, Hunter, GiGi, Kyleigh, and Charlotte.
