Ralph Allen

Willie Ralph Allen, 82, of Norwood passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. Rev. Mark Little will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Ralph was born on November 4, 1942 to the late Willie Nathan and Gladys Cauble Allen. He laid laminate for Stanly Fixtures for many years and he proudly owned and operated Allen’s Body Shop. Ralph was also a member of Cottonville Baptist Church. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-son Christopher Havens, and his sister Judy Allen Howell.

He is survived by his wife whom he loved dearly, Theresa Irene Allen, of the home, three daughters: Joan Foreman, Paula McRorie (Bobby), and Linda Allen, two step-children: Thomas Havens (Esther), and Celeste Havens, four grandchildren: Brandon Wayne Gallimore, Garrett Lee Foreman, Madison Horne and Thomas Kyler Gallimore, six step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren: Jackson, and Kason, 10 step-great grandchildren, and four brothers: Jimmy Allen (Sherry), Gary Allen (Deborah), Lannie Allen (Debbie), and Larry Allen (Donna).
