Pete Bauman

Dennis Albert “Pete” Bauman Jr. 69 of Mt. Gilead died Monday Morning, December 17, 2018 at Atrium Health-Stanly.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Hamer Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Mabry will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Tuesday Evening at Edwards Funeral Home of Mt. Gilead.

Pete was born February 22, 1949 in Anson County to the late Dennis and Myrtle Broadaway Bauman. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army and a member of Hamer Creek Baptist Church. He was a retiree of Sapona Manufacturing Company in Cedar Falls.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Parsons Bauman of the home. Two daughters, Debbie Bauman (Bill) of Mt. Gilead and Melissa Sanchez of Michigan. Two Sisiters, Gloria Springer of Kelly, NC and Gail Burris (Johnny) of Rockingham. Seven grandchildren, Samantha (Ron), Sarah, Jacob, Cody, Reuben, Emillo and Chloe. Nephews and Nieces, Robbie, Rodney, Annette and Stephnie.

He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Wyatt Reece Deaton.
