Paul Cox

Paul Edward Cox 80 of Norwood passed away early Saturday Morning, October 19, 2019 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, October 26, 2019 at First United Methodist Church, Norwood. Rev. Bill Roberts and Rev. Mike Lisk will officiate.

Paul was born July 30, 1939 in Pelzer, SC to the late Ralph and Mae Brady Cox. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retiree of Michelin.

Paul was an active member of the community and had served as President of the Norwood Lion’s Club and a member of Norwood First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Paula Cox Peters and his son Tony Cox, his brother, Foman Cox and his sisters, Sue and Shirley.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Charlotte Burrell Cox. Grandsons, Jason Jordan and fiancée Jennifer Cowan, Chris Scoggins and wife Misty. Granddaughters, Lacie and husband Carter Lybrand, Brittney Hollingsworth and Taylor Cox. Eight great-grandchildren. Sisters, Carol Chapman and Joyce Kelly.
