Patris McLendon

Ms. Patris Lutricia McLendon, 69, of Norwood, died June 12, 2021 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.

A homegoing service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, June 18, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood.  Rev. Anthony Ledbetter will officiate and burial will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Pee Dee Avenue, Norwood.  Ms. McLendon will lie in state Thursday afternoon, June 17, 2021 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood. 

Patris was born February 12, 1952 in Stanly County to the late Mina Lee McLendon.  She attended South Stanly High School.  She enjoyed a good conversation, planting flowers, and loved to fish!

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lacy and David McLendon. 

She is survived by her three sons, Joseph Harris (Betty Rivers), Mark Lee Harris(Vickie Harris) all of Norwood, Nathan A Harris of Albemarle and one daughter, Carla E. Harris of Atlanta, GA;  18 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and sister, Martha Ledbetter of Norwood.
