Patricia Scheller

Patricia Diane Poplin Scheller, 49, of New London passed away on Sunday evening, October 27, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Victory Tabernacle Pentecostal Church: 1313 Bird Road  Albemarle, NC 28001. Pastor Amanda Wilson will officiate.  

Patricia was born on February 8, 1975 to the late Bobby McRae Poplin and Frances Harvey Mason. She retired from Collins and Aikman as a color tech and she attended Victory Tabernacle Baptist Church in Albemarle. Patricia loved to travel, specifically to the beach. She was known to have a witty sense of humor, and she loved life, living every day to the fullest. 

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her siblings: Freddie Wayne Huneycutt, and Stephanie Turnmire. 

She is survived by her husband, Steven Anthony Scheller, of the home, five children: Joe Simmons (Amanda), Lonnie Britt III, Autumn Dominique Thompson (Joe), Sara Scheller, and Stephanie Scheller, six grandchildren, and three siblings: Bobby Harvey, Jimmy Pierce (Christine), Laurie Sides (Barry), and Sandra Thompson (Mark).
