Patricia Russell

Patricia Kimrey Russell, 79, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at Atrium Health Stanly. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mary Hatley will officiate and burial will follow at Fairview Gardens in Albemarle at a later date. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, prior to the service. 

Mrs. Russell was born on November 12, 1946 in Stanly County to the late Joel Amos and Cornelia Farmer Kimrey. She was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Melvin Kimrey, Jerry Kimrey, and Shirley Wright.

She is survived by her brother, Bernard Kimrey of Albemarle.
