Pamela Kay Blalock Harris, 71, of Norwood passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Pamela was born on September 15, 1954 in Stanly County to the late Albert and Grace Mingus Blalock. She attended South Stanly High School, and spent her years as a homemaker, and matriarch for her family.
In true “MawMaw” fashion, the family would gather at her house under the carport to exchange stories of the days and reminisce over the past. The carport crew discussed many current events and how to take care of “everything.” Pam was the heart of the home and the center of the family. She loved the beach, the mountains, shopping, flipflops, people, and animals.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother James Blalock.
She is survived by her husband, William Donald “Butch” Harris, children: Erica Frick (Billy), and Marty Swaringen (Jessica), four grandchildren: Taylor Eudy (Garrett), Chase Frick (Zoe), Harrison Swaringen, and Shaye Winfield, three great grandchildren: Harlie Eudy, Ella Johnson, and Liam Eudy, her sister Sue Eudy (Sidney), and several special family members and friends.
The family would like to express their appreciation for all the prayers, visits, and food.
Memorials may be made to Tillery Compassionate Care.
