Odessa Jett

Odessa Kelly Robinson Jett, 95, of Mt. Gilead, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at First Health Hospice in Pinehurst.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 15 at 2:30 PM at Candor Cemetery in Candor. The family will receive friends at Holly Mount Baptist Church from 12:45 until 1:45. 

Odessa was born in Montgomery County on November 10, 1928 to the late Charlie and Emma Blake Kelly. She worked in the food service department for Samarkand Manor. Odessa was also a faithful member of Holly Mount Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands Floyd Miller Robinson, and Charles Delbert Jett.

She is survived by her sister Lois Kay Thompson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holly Mount Benevolence Fund or First Health Hospice in Pinehurst.
