Norman Charles Coyle, 79, of Norwood, passed away December 30, 2022 at Atrium Health in Pineville.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Randall by the River in Norwood, NC. A visitation and meal will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
Norman was born April 4, 1943 in Towanda, PA to the late Theodore Russell Coyle, Sr. and Dorothy Edith Knox Coyle. He was a 1961 graduate of Towanda Valley High School. He graduated from Dickinson College in 1965 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and from West Virginia University in 1968 with a Masters in Social Work. He was a Behavioral Health Social Worker. Norman enjoyed Nascar Racing and Genealogy. He was a member of Randall by the River.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Theodore Russell Coyle, Jr.; sisters, Edith Hope Coyle Tagg, Patricia Josephine Coyle Schindler and brother in law, Marvin Samuel Schindler.
He is survived by his sister in law, Diane Mitchell Coyle; brother in law, Andrew Tagg, Nieces, Susan Mary Coyle Clingman and husband, Rockey, Lore Elaine Schindler, Inge-Marie Schindler Tudor and husband, Dirk; nephews, Daniel Mark Schindler and wife, Karon, James Russell Tagg, Bruce Alexander Tagg and wife, Kimberly; six grand nieces and nephews; two great-great nephews and special friends, Kathy and Kevin McCormack.
