Noma Wallace Gentry

Noma Gail Wallace Gentry, 80, of Albemarle passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Atrium Northeast in Concord.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Mountain View Baptist Church.  Rev. Don Crusenberry and Rev. Mike Almond will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Gentry was born August 13, 1940 in Chesterfield County, SC to the late James Edward and Lorine Roscoe Wallace.  She was a homemaker and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Dale Gentry, one granddaughter, three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, William Henry Gentry, Sr., of  the home; sons, William Henry Gentry, Jr. of Chardon, Ohio and John Mikell Gentry and wife, Cindy of Indian Trail; daughter, Sheila Gentry Ridenhour of Suffolk, VA; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
