Nichole Johnson

Elizabeth Nichole Dennis Johnson, 44, of Cornelius, passed away Saturday morning, August 14, 2021 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House.  

A memorial service will be held at 5:00PM, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at North Cross Church, 11020 Bailey Road, Cornelius, NC 28031.  Because, Nichole loved the color pink, preferably hot pink, the family asked that those attending honor her memory by wearing pink!  Due to COVID 19, guests are asked to wear mask and practice social distancing.  The service will be live streamed through the church website.

Nichole was born July 1, 1977 in Stanly County.  She was a 1995 graduate of South Stanly High School and attended Campbell University and graduated from UNC Charlotte.  She was a Senior Underwriter with Frankenmuth Insurance Agency and a member of North Cross Church.

She is survived by her son, James Johnson of the home; mother, Susan High Lee and husband, Buddy; father, James M. Hathcock and wife, Misty; brother, Tony Dennis and partner, Crystal, his children, Kayla and Kelsey Dennis; Aunt Carolyn High; Uncle Robert High and wife, Kathryn and their son, William; Uncle Junior Ward and son, Sean.

The family wishes to thank her many friends and church family who were by her side during her journey.
