Nelson "Boo" Goins

Nelson Ray “Boo” Goins, 25, of Candor died November 2, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday afternoon, November 13, 2021 at Norwood Cemetery.  Rev. Todd Tucker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM until 2:30PM, prior to the service  at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.

Nelson was born October 3, 1996 in Randolph County.  He was last employed with Seldom Rest Cabinet Shop.  He enjoyed drawing and doing tatoos.

He was preceded in death by his paternal  grandfather, Larry Sanford Goins and maternal grandmother, Sherry Hathcock Morgan.  

He is survived by his mother, Mechelle Jernigan Pruitt(Keith) of Albemarle and his father, Sanford Ray Goins of Candor; his children, Aiden and Nevaeh; brothers and sisters, Makayla Ann Goins, Spencer Lane Goins, Kylee Lewis, Cameron Lee Thompson, Steven Riley Pruitt, Garrett Aiden Pruitt and Keaton Gene Pruitt;  grandmother, Debbie Lamonds Goins of Albemarle and Roger Jernigan, Sr. of Albemarle; great grandmother, Lillie “Monk” Ingram.
