Nellie Eudy

Nellie Allen Eudy 86 of Norwood died Sunday Morning, March 29, 2020 at Stanly Manor.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Harwards Chapel Cemetery. Tom Mauldin will officiate. Mrs. Eudy will lie in state from 1:00 until 5:00 Tuesday Afternoon and 9:00AM until 1:00PM Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood where friends are welcome to pay their respects privately.

She was born June 11, 1933 in Stanly County to the late Carl and Jodie Curlee Allen. She was a homemaker and a member of Norwood Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband Luther (June) Eudy on February 17, 2020.

She is survived by her son Danny Eudy (Jo Ann) of Concord. Her granddaughter, Summer Danielle Eudy and two great-grandsons, Sawyer Ryan Webb and Luke Daniel Webb.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter Tammy Lynn Eudy. Four brothers, Nathan Allen, Bennett Allen, John Allen and Ernest Allen. Eight sisters, Sarah Maness, Lillian Barringer, Mary Frone Crump, Virginia Pinion, Bonnie Beckler, Cassie Griffin, Evelyene Harris and Julia Burris.

Due to an order issued by NC Governor Roy Cooper to limit crowd size the service may only be attended by family, funeral home staff and guest personally invited by the family.
