Mitchell Simpson

Mitchell Simpson, 75, of Norwood; passed away Saturday, December 6th, 2025, at Atrium Healthcare Stanly. 

Mitchell was born on March 14th, 1950; in Stanly County, to the late Bevely Webster and Margie Hudson Simpson. He maintained a career in the truck driving industry. 

In addition to his parents, Mitchell was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Simpson, and his siblings: Willie Simpson, Delano Simpson, Carol Hathcock and Martha Hough. 

Mitchell is survived by his brothers: Darol Simpson (Libby), Tony Simpson, Bevely ‘Louis’ Simpson, and Bobby Simpson; and his nephew, DJ Simpson.
