Mike Eudy

Michael Joe Eudy, 68, of Oakboro, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Bethel Baptist Church in Locust.  Reverend Brian Bolding will officiate.  A visitation will follow in the fellowship hall.

Mike was born December 2, 1957 in Stanly County to the late Jessie and Lucille Almond Eudy. He graduated from West Stanly High School, class of 1976.  He was a salesman  for Eudy’s Cabinet Shop.  

Mike enjoyed working and in his spare time liked gardening, riding his tractor, camping and riding horses with his wife, Janie.  He was a great carpenter.  Mike had a servant’s heart, he helped people in the community and his church family. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the TarHeels, Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Panthers.   Most of all, he loved his grandchildren! He was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church, where for over 45 years he served as Music Director.

He is survived by his wife, Janie Aldridge Eudy of the home; sons, Mitchell Eudy (Elisabeth), their children, Venice and Reese; Justin Eudy(Mariah); brother, Jerry Eudy(Jeanne).
