Mickey (Hathcock) Carver

Mildred “Mickey” Hathcock Carver, 80, of Norwood died Tuesday afternoon, August 18, 2020 at Atrium Northeast.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 21, 2020 on the lawn of Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.  Rev. Jeremy Holt will officiate.

Mickey was born June 1, 1940 in Stanly County to the late Marvin and Myrtle Gregory Hathcock. She was a retiree of Roman Knit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Odis Carver; sisters, Carolyn Lee and Kaye Hyatt and brother, Franklin Hathcock.

She is survived by three sons, Tod Carver (Scot) of Raleigh, Tracey Carver and Roger Carver (Michelle)all of Norwood; two daughters, Terrie Carver Ostrander (Dallas) of Albemarle and Leigh Ann Carver Lassiter(Kevin) of Albemarle; brothers, Jimmy Hathcock of Wadesboro, Donnie Hathcock of New Salem, Pete Hathcock and Bob Hathcock both of Norwood; sisters, Betty Burris of New London, Lois Harris of Statesville, Alice Dorman and Shirley Rowland both of Albemarle; grandchildren, Brandon(Samantha) Mabry, Ashley(Garrett) Foreman, Samantha Carver, Jordan and Dillon Livingston, Adreanna Carver; great-grandchildren, Aceyn Carver, Lily Mabry, A'lora Carver.
