Melissa Hughes

Melissa Louise Hughes “(MeMe) 40 of Candor died Friday, April 19, 2024 at First Health Hospice.

Arrangements will be announced at a later date.

Melissa was born December 1, 1983 in Horry County, SC to Robert “Jr” Hughes and Demetrice Spivey Eubanks. She attended South Davidson and North Stanly High Schools. She worked as an office manager and for Novant Health along with other career choices.

She loved her children and family deeply. She also loved helping others when she could. Along with some wonderful young cheerleaders they raised $ 11,000.00 for “Cheers for Smiles”.She also loved cheering on her Clemson Tigers with her children every chance she got. She also loved her Savior Jesus Christ. She decided that she needed a change before she left us and that change was Jesus.

In addition to her parents she is survived by daughter, Madison Lee Williams and son, Andrew Gordon Williams III (AJ).  Her step-mother, Candy Hughes.She is also survived by many special family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her step-father Robbie Eubanks.
