Mary Preslar

Mary Martha Sanders Preslar, 59, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.

Mary was born on November 5, 1965  in Laurinburg, NC to the late Marvin Boyd and Frances Margaret Haywood Sanders. She was a loving woman and mother and enjoyed playing solitaire. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Preslar; and son, James David Preslar; and one sister, Diane Cruz.

 She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen Sanders of Albemarle; 6 grandchildren: Natalie Hyatt, Keithan Sanders, Malaya Harris, Carrie Sanders, Reyla Sanders, and Destiny Sanders; and two brothers: Timmy Sanders and Jimmy Sanders.
