Mary Ann Huneycutt

Mary Ann Hatley Huneycutt, 65, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Atrium Stanly.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood.  Rev. Todd McSwain will officiate and interment will follow in Norwood Cemetery.  Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at Edwards Funeral Home on Friday, February 19,2021 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM.

Mary Ann was born May 21, 1955 in Stanly County to the late Curtis Lee and Clara Burr Hatley. 

She was a 1973 graduate of South Stanly High School and was a retiree of Michelin. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Her grandchildren were her joy and she loved spending time with them.  Her little dog, Buddy brought her much happiness. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Curtis Hatley.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Junior Huneycutt of the home; sons, Tim Huneycutt; Mike Huneycutt and wife, Heather all of Norwood; sister, Shelby Carpenter and husband, Perry of Norwood; six grandchildren, Jake, Chloe, Sawyer, Michael, Piper and Stryker Huneycutt.
