Martha Little

Martha Davis Little, 91, of Norwood died peacefully surrounded by her family Sunday Morning, March 10, 2024, at her home. At an early age, Martha confessed Christ as her personal savior and attended Cedar Hill Baptist Church, Ansonville, NC. She later joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she attended faithfully and supported the ministries of the church.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ansonville, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 12:00 noon until 4:30 Friday afternoon, March 15, 2024, at Edwards Funeral Home of Norwood, NC.

Mrs. Little was born May 16, 1932, in Anson County to the late Sylvester Lee Davis and Nezzie Harris Davis. She was a retiree of Cassie Cotillon of Norwood and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Thomas Little of Mount Gilead, NC. She is survived by six sons: Larry Davis (Rosetta), Ronald Little (Janis), Thomas Little Jr, Frederick Little (Joann), Michael Little (Layezette ) and Steve Little (Shana). Sixteen Grandchildren, Twenty-Six Great Grandchildren and Six Great-Great Grandchildren. Also surviving is a host of Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Little. Six brothers: Walter Davis, Melton Davis, Weldon Davis, John Davis, Clyde Davis and Gene Davis. One sister, Elizabeth Hyatt.
