Lucy Snuggs

Lucy Ann Still Snuggs, 89, of Norwood, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM  on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Randall United Methodist Church. Rev. Jim Yow and Pastor Tommy Fincher will officiate and burial will follow at the church cemtery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Snuggs was born on November 27, 1931 in Stanly County to the late Homer and Arabelle Shepherd Still. She retired from Stanly County Register of Deeds as an Assistant Registar. She was a member at Randall United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Needham Snuggs and brother William Still.

She is survived by her children: Danita Ward (Robert) of Statesville, Thomas Snuggs Jr.,of Charlotte, Sharon Korczyk (Richard) of Advance, and James Snuggs (Christi) of Albemarle; six grandchildren: John, Spencer, Zachary, Nicole, Eli, and Abigail; and one brother: James Still.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Misty Stiller, Melody Thompson, and Tammy Jones, for their compassion and care.
