Louise Edwards

Louise Majerck Edwards, 74 of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Albemarle. Father Peter Fitzgibbons will officiate.  Inurnment will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Louise was born July 23, 1946 in Fort Benning, GA to the late Joseph Bernard and Laura Lambert Majerick.  She was a retired middle school teacher, having retired from Anson Middle School in Wadesboro.  She was a member of Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Leon Edwards and sister, Jo Ann Majerick.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Joel) Caldwell of Albemarle; sons, Chris(Wendy) Barbee of Inverness FL and Jason(Jerri) Barbee of Oakboro, step-daughter, Melissa(Gregg) Brown of Albemarle; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and brother, Robert Majerick of Eden, NC.
