Edna Louise Morton Caudle, 82, of Norwood, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at her home, with her daughters by her side.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Louise was born on July 13, 1943 to the late James Thomas and Esther Long Morton. She was a graduate of Norwood Highschool’s Class of 1962.
Despite her declining health in recent years, Louise still enjoyed keeping up with her family and all the local happenings, and news in Norwood. Louise was truly one of a kind, and she will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her son, Channing Caudle; son in law, Hoss Parker, brothers, Harvey Morton, Ralph Morton, and Raymond Morton, and her sister Lena (Sissy) Farmer.
She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Parker (Lee), and Debbie Kiker, five grandchildren: Daniel Parker (Katie), Whitney Essick (Bradley), Cierra Metcalf (Justin), Kyle Speight, and Cortney Davenport (Steven), and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their sincerest and most heartfelt gratitude to Angela Cates of Tillery Compassionate Care, and Natalie Harris, a special friend and neighbor for her support and kindness.
