Lily Taylor Obituary

Lily Jane Taylor, 18, of Bourne, MA and a student at Pfeiffer University, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 11, 2023.

Lily was born March 1, 2004 in Falmouth, MA to Brenton Bennett Taylor and Taasha Louise King Taylor, of Bourne, MA.

Lily was a beautiful person inside and out. She had a huge heart full of love and kindness towards all people around her. She touched the lives of all she came in contact with. All that know Lily loved lily. Lily loved her family deeply and chose to be with them and share in the close bonds she treasured. She naturally showed her affection using great sense of humor which caused so much giggling and laughter, embraces to fill your whole soul, lending a hand, and saying “I love you most”. We all loved her whole heartedly. Lily was an intelligent girl and worked diligently to achieve high grades throughout school. Putting her best foot forward she surpassed any learning issues diagnosed. We all were so proud of her. Lily had an artistic flare and loved creating using all kinds of mediums; drawings and paintings, stain glass, pottery, sewing, and even through playing piano. She spent time to lovingly make holiday and special occasion gifts for those close to her heart. We all will cherish those thoughtful presents forever.

Lily embraced the motto of always doing the right thing. She saw and reflected the best in all of us. Lily was a beacon of light for everyone. We all walked with an angel. Rest In Peace our sweet baby girl. Forever missed. Forever loved.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Brenton Clark Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Brenton Carl Taylor of Bourne, MA; paternal grandmother, Jean A. Taylor of Sudbury, MA; maternal grandparents, Arthur Richard and Penolope Hall Cotoni of Mount Gilead, NC and Carl Leroy King of Oregon; uncle, Dr. David Andrew Cotoni(Tiah Lynn) of Mount Gilead; aunts, Barbara Lynn King of Maynard, MA and Jennifer Jane Prokowiew(David) of Lunenburg, MA; cousins, Andrew James Cotoni, Jackson Arthur Cotoni, Jonathan Joseph Cotoni, David Archer Cotoni, Drake Travis Mulcahy, Chloe Prokewiew and Jared Prokowiew.
