Obituary
Kevin Emmanuel Chepe-Lopez, 13, of Locust passed away Sunday evening, September 3, 2023.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Albemarle, NC, interment will follow in Norview Gardens, Norwood. Father Oscar Rojas will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood, NC.
Kevin was born September 13, 2009 in Stanly County to Adan Chepe Castellanos and Petra Lopez Angel. He was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church.
Kevin was an eighth grader at West Stanly Middle School where he was actively involved as a member of the soccer, football and wrestling teams. Kevin was well liked among staff and friends.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Christopher Chepe-Lopez and sister, Stephanie Chepe-Lopez; paternal grandmother, Catalina Castellanos and paternal grandfather, Crispine Chepe-Luna and maternal grandmother, Mercedes Angel.
