Kelvin Brooks Brantley 47 of Norwood died Monday Afternoon, March 19, 2018 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. Pastor David Howard will officiate and interment will follow in Harward Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Kelvin was born February 2, 1971 in Stanly County. He was raised by his grandparents Olin Keith and Virgie Harward. He attended Albemarle High School and was owner of Kelvin Brantley Painting.

He is survived by his wife Jody Griffin Brantley of the home. His children, Courtney Mills (Rusty), Corey Houston Brantley (Samantha) and Lexus Brantley all of Norwood. His Grandchildren, Makynlie and Zaelyn Mills and Kinsley Brantley. His Mother, Debra Jean Huneycutt and her husband Donnie of Ansonville. His Step-Father, Rick Poplin of Albemarle. His brother and sisters, Derrick Poplin and Angie Moore both of Albemarle and LuJene Lowder of Albemarle.
