Kathy Allen

Kathy Morgan Allen 72 of Norwood died Monday, May 25, 2026 surrounded by her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Kathy was born October 22, 1953 in Stanly County to the late David and Audie Gudger Morgan. She was a retiree of Bethany Woods. 

She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, shopping and going out to eat.

She is survived by her husband Rex Allen of the home. Her daughter, Lynsie Allen ( Rebecca) of Norwood and her step-daughter, Shannon Baucom (Rick) of Oakboro. Her siblings, Diane Smith (Warren), Steve Morgan (Wanda), Shawn Reap (Mike) and Jon Derek Morgan (Susie). Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Bowden.
