Edna Juanita Roberts Mabry 103 of Mt. Gilead died Saturday Morning, August 8, 2020 at Stanly Manor.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 10, 2020 at Melton’s Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Mabry will officiate.
She was born May 13, 1917 in Montgomery County to the late Clarence and Sally Dennis Roberts. She was a retiree of United Mills and spent most of her life as a member of Hamer Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.V. Mabry, a daughter, Joan Frances Hinson, brothers, James “Bunn” Roberts, Claude Roberts and Woodrow Roberts. Sisters, Anna Lois Mabry, Pauline Roberts and Velma Haywood.
Survivors are her sons, Larry Mabry (Phyllis) of Troy and Johnny Mabry (Kathy) of Mt. Gilead. Brother, Roy Roberts (Katherine) of Mt. Gilead. Six Grandchildren and Six Great-Grandchildren.
