Johnsie Terry

Johnsie McRae Terry, 88, of Norwood, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2025 at Atrium Health Stanly.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Norview Gardens. The service will be led by her nephew and nieces. 

Johnsie was born on January 13, 1937 in Anson County to the late George Washington and Verdie Gertrude Kennedy McRae. She retired from Stanly Knitting. She loved gardening and enjoyed canning and dehydrating her produce to share with her family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Greek Terry and numerous brothers and sisters. 

She is survived by her son, Stanley Terry and wife Ginger; two grandsons: Heath Terry and Jacob Miller; and one sister: Verdie Sue McRae
