Joanne Hayman

Mary Joanne Brock Hayman, 83, of Norwood, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 2, 2023.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood. Rev. Jon Furgeson will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Joanne was born June 14, 1940 in Stanly County to the late William Harding and Elsie Mae Eudy Brock.  She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert “Robbie” Hildreth.

She is survived by her husband, Emory Hayman of the home; son, Richard “Richie Hildreth of Norwood; step children, Michael Hayman of Albemarle; Mark Hayman of Stanfield and Dorothy Hayman of Richfield. Sister Judy Hall (Pat).
