Jimmy Hoover

Jimmy Ray Hoover, 71, of Mount Gilead passed away Monday evening, November 8, 2021 at his home.

A memorial service will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2:00PM, at the home of his daughter, Michelle,  2713 Bethel Lucas Road, Asheboro, NC  27205.

Jimmy was born June 14, 1950 in Randolph County to the late Leroy Herbert and Vilene Rebecca Spivey Hoover.  He was last employed with the NC Department of Transporation and was a member of the NC National Guard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife,  Sheila Louise Richardson; daughter Kimberly Dawn Kemp and sister, Wanda Strickland.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Presnell(Randy) of Asheboro; sister, Joyce Ann Blanton of Onslow County; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
