Jewell Anslee Efird, 4, of Norwood,was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, Wednesday afternoon, May 22, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Silver Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Little and Pastor Dusty Laney will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00, prior to the service at the church.
Jewell was born July 26, 2019 in Cabarrus County to Daniel and Melissa Gardin Efird. She was a 2024 graduate of Wee Care. She was a joy and light to every room.
Jewell was preceded in death by her sister, Hagan Efird; maternal grandmother, Mary Gardin; paternal grandparents, Rickey and Sonya Efird; great grandparents, Wade and Agnes Gardin, Edward and Alma Jewell Hudson and Wayne Efird.
In addition to her parents Daniel and Melissa, she is survived by her sister, Cheyenne Efird of the home; grandparents, David and Eva Gardin, great grandparents, Viola Lovejoy and Alma Broadway; grandparents that loved her like their own, Tony and Carmia Poplin, Charles and Sandra Tucker and Jimmy and Donna Weatherholt; aunts and uncles, Danyelle and Chris Wing, Dusty and Holly Efird, Jamie and Jennifer Vanhoy and Tyler Gardin; cousin, TJ Blalock(Jessica), Destiny Blalock(Kenny), Dylan Blalock, Denver Blalock(Kendall), Justin Vanhoy, Destiny Blackwelder, Austin Blackwelder and Addison Frick. Jewell was loved by so many people.
The family wishes to thank Center Rural Fire & Rescue, Aquadale VFD, Stanly EMS, Stanly 911 and the Stanly County Sheriff's office and Atrium Stanly Emergency Department for all they did to assist the family.
