Jerry Coble

Jerry Watson Coble, 82, of Albemarle, died Sunday morning, December 11, 2022 at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00PM Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Keith Byrd will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jerry was born February 14, 1940 in Montgomery County to the late Leo and Lorena Christenbury Coble. He was a US Navy Veteran and a retiree of Cassie Cotillion.

He is survived by his wife,  Vera Kaye Byrd Coble of the home; three daughters, Freda Burgos of Gold Hill, Gina Coble (Paul Waddell) of Albemarle and Lora Melton (Noah) of Hillsborough. One son, Riley Coble of the home. Three brothers, Eugene Coble, L.D. Coble and Derwin Coble, two sisters, Marie Batten and Carolyn McNeill. Six grandchildren, Kaci Moran, Kala O’Connor, Chason Alligood, Kaleb, Kamya and Kaden Waddell.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters, Roy Coble, Bernice Parsons and Almeta Wilson.
